VATICAN MUSEUMS

Inside the Vatican Museums, a very delicate operation was carried out for the conservation of one of the most famous exhibited works: "The Transfiguration." This is the last work of Raphael executed between 1518 and 1520 before his death and completed by Giulio Romano in 1522. The project provided a control of dust, humidity, light load and stratification air through an innovative control and specific to a BMS system. A work that has engaged tens of technicians and required, for the first time in its field, the use of a super-computer capable of playing a perfect simulation of environmental conditions that would be found.
